This is not a sponsored post, but when we find something that we love, we just have to share it.
The Guild has changed the game when it comes to hotel stays. We stayed at the Red River location in the Music District of Austin back in September, and it was one of the best experiences that we’ve ever had.
First off, this isn’t a hotel. These are apartments that are fully furnished and have a full kitchen. For an additional charge, they will even go grocery shopping for you and have everything put away and waiting for you when you get there. If you aren’t interested in cooking or cleaning a kitchen on vacation {because who wants to do that…}, there are TONS of great restaurants within walking distance.
This living room area may or may not be the inspiration for how we’re decorating our living room in our house. Leather, velvet, wood, textures, funky art, neutrals + cool blue tones. It’s everything that I love, and I instantly felt at home. It also didn’t hurt that the sofa was ridiculously comfy, and I drank my coffee sitting there every morning.
I’m not sure if it was because we were so tired or if the bed was actually made of clouds from heaven, but we slept really really well both nights. As if the bed being comfy wasn’t enough, it also looks stinking cool. The headboard is a made of mix-matched metal panels, and the Willie Nelson pillow really adds to the “whisky-soaked rock n’ roll” vibe.
A few other things that need to be noted about The Guild:
Other included room features for the Red River location include a bathroom with toiletries, a washer and dryer, free wifi, complimentary local coffee, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, an outdoor pool, grilling stations, and an onsite gym.
The units at Red River are all 1 bedroom apartments. The unit layout and type may vary by location. There are 9 Guild locations in Austin, TX and 2 Guild locations in Dallas, TX.
The Guild will respond 24/7 by text, phone, & email. {BY TEXT. Can I get an amen from all of the millennials?} We got to our room at almost 2am and couldn’t figure out how to get the key to work with the elevator, and they responded to our texts almost immediately. You can’t beat that kind of customer service!
Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this company. Every step of the process from booking to check out was a breeze, and their units will be our go to place to stay when we’re in Austin and Dallas in the future.
